Manchester United make £28.6 million bid for Sergio Ramos

Manchester United have made a £28.6m bid for Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos.

Ramos, 29, has told Real Madrid he wants to leave the club in favour of Manchester United.

Despite having two years left on his current deal at the Bernabeu, Ramos has publically been at unrest with Real. According to reports, Real Madrid failed to match Ramos’ contract demands, demands Louis Van Gaal’s side have matched and offered.

Ramos joined Madrid from Sevilla in 2005, going on to represent the Galácticos over 400 times. Ramos has won the Champions League with Real, along with 3 La Liga titles. At International level, the defender has won Euro 2008 and 2012, as well as the 2010 World Cup.
