Persepolis drew 2-2 with Padideh Khorasan in their opening match of the Iran Pro League on Friday evening.
Hadi Norouzi drew Persepolis level with a spectacular long range drive to leave the Padideh keeper with no chance.
The 30 year old forward picked up the ball from 25 yards out before unleashing a rocket into the top right hand corner of the goal.
Ali Alipourgahara had given the home side the lead inside 8 minutes before the visitors equalised through Younes Shakeri. Minutes later Padideh took the lead with an effort from Badamaki Hossein, all within the first 17 minutes of the game, held at Tehran’s Azadi stadium.
