West Ham left back Aaron Cresswell has penned a new five-year deal with the Hammers, with the option of an additional two years.
After an impressive first season at Upton Park, Cresswell’s future looked to be in the balance with clubs like Chelsea being linked with the star. However, the 25 year-old has committed his future in East London, until 2020 atleast.
Cresswell was only one of a few players to play every single minute of Premier League football last season. He signed last summer from Ipswich Town for a bargain fee of £3.75 million.
The Hammer of the Year told West Ham’s official site – “It’s exciting times for me to pen a new deal at West Ham,”.
“It’s going to be a massive year for us, the last year at Upton Park. But it’s exciting times going into one of the best stadiums in Europe, even in the world.
“It’s going to be a good summer, hopefully a few more faces will come in and we’ll have a good year.”
